1. What is motion?

Ans:  if a body changes its position with respect to the surrounding in a given time then the body said to be in motion.


2. What do you understand by Rest? 

Ans: A body is said to be in rest when it does not changes its position with respect to the surrounding in a given time.

3. Define one dimensional motion.

One dimensional motion moving in one direction only in x -axis


Ans: A motion is said to be one dimensional if one of the the co-ordinate changes in a given frame of reference .

4. Define two dimensional motion.





Ans: A motion is said to be in two-dimensional if two  co-ordinate changes in the given frame of reference.



5. Define three dimensional motion.



Ans: motion is said to be in three dimensional if three co-ordinate changes in the given form of reference.
